You know when you put hella hard work into something but nobody appreciates it the way you might? I’ve been watching @lee_werks custom fab brackets, buy new tools, remake brackets, cut up original parts etc to get this carbon fiber roof onto his race car. I see you! In the end it was a little too much carbon fiber for his liking as it’s already got a cf hood and other accents. So while we originally had planned to protect@it in clear ppf, we switched it up and covered it in color infused gloss black ppf by @gswf.global insanely great clarity while reaping the benefits of it being ppf and not vinyl — thick enough to protect, self healing, won’t yellow or delaminate in a couple years. Downside of this material is that it’s ppf and much harder to manipulate to some complex shapes. On this one we left some carbon exposed as accents which the owner was aware of.
Also ceramic coated hard top as well the previously ppf’d cf hood.
