2014 BMW 435i (Alpine White)
It’s not perfect and that’s OK! This 435i had the “measles” as the owner called it; she was referring to the iron fallout and contaminates — which happens on every car, but particularly noticeable on lighter colored cars, especially on white due to the contrast. It’s pretty much iron and carbon particles embedded into the paint. Its even more common on those who park outside and near rail roads. A iron/fallout remover is part of the decontamination process; where you spray it on the surface and it dissolves the particles (turns purple). Recommend doing this annually or as needed. This 6yr old car never had a chem decon, and it took 4 rounds of it to get the car measle free. The rest of the car got a single step enhancement; to achieve the greatest amount of gloss without introducing hazing in a single step; a great bang for the buck, but achieving perfection or near perfection is not in the picture, or the budget for this job. And that’s OK. The car will still reap the benefits of having a ceramically coated car; chemical/UV protection, but more importantly, the ease of cleaning for this outdoor-parked car.
