2020 Audi SQ5 (Florett Silver Metallic)

2018(9?) B9, same same 🤷🏻‍♂️, SQ5 recently ceramic coated by another shop but the paint clearly had contaminates, even visible on the friendly metallic silver paint, felt rough to touch particularly the rear of the car and the roof. It was pretty clear that the car had not been decontaminated at all by the previous shop, which should be the absolute bare minimum when coating a car. It’s analogous to painting a wall, at bare minimum you should clean the wall before painting it. Our minimum prep for coatings here nomatter how new or old includes a decontamination and a single step polish, or “scuffing the wall”. This car received a two step polish to remove any remnants of the previous coating and then replaced with Revivify Lite. Babies butt smooth now and ready for their next kiddo!
