1987 BMW E30 M3 Dinan (Alpine White)

1987 BMW M3 Dinan, the holy grail of M3’s, the E30, the drawing of a BMW that looked almost exactly like this one here. Not fast by any means in modern standard, but one hell more of a drivers car than all the nannified autotragic cars out there now!
Outfitted with a whole 5spd transmission, blinkers that you have to manually turn off, a/c vents that are not hepa-filtered, leaves this nothing but a smile on your face as you feel every mechanical part through your forearm as you slam that shifter into first.

36 years old and while far from perfect, now looks damn better than many cars on the road.
We removed the old paint protection film on this one along with the vinyl bumper stripes.
New gloss black ppf bumper stripes
New satin black ppf B pillars
Touched up a few paint chips, learned that there were 3 iterations of Alpine White, this one being the pc:146, first version
Three step cut and polish to get this paint looking as good as it can (within reason, safely)
Since no new ppf added to the front, we added Revivify’s additional base coat to the bumper and hood for added thickness to minimize rock chips for this not-driven-often car.
Applied new to market Revivify CarbonX, self healing carbon base coating that will probably take over the market here.
