We use to go by the name Distinctiv_Detailing, which really started as a just-for-fun kind of name with car group Distinctiv_Tuning. But, it was kind of a play on words too, since each detail is unique and distinctive, catered to the person’s needs. We still have that similar mindset; to cater packages to the person’s needs. In today is a older BMW X3, over a decade old, has seen better days, but really just needed a real good scrubb’n. The exterior received a decontamination and an AIO polish, with the intent really to just bring some shine back to the dull paint. We topped that off with a traditional sealant; Optimum Optiseal for some additional protection as well. There’s a section on the hood with completely failed clear coat, we took this opportunity to play with CS-II Titanium and gave it a nice thick layer over the top, with hopes that it’ll provide a few more years to the life of the hood before it rusts. The interior got a scrub down, floor mats extracted, and a steam cleaned. There were years of dirt, crayons(?), makeup, and oils caked up on most of the surfaces. Some of which are really engrained in there, to the point where we did not feel safe scrubbing or steaming it excessively, as it would remove the protective coating of the leather. And so, we really wanted to just get the whole interior sanitized and cleaned up. To help with the odor removal, we also ran an ozone generator inside after the cleaning. It definitely smells and looks much cleaner now!
