2009 Honda Accord (Basque Red Pearl)
You know a tell tale of a good person? When they put others before themselves. Jonathan (and his brothers?) brought his mom’s Accord in a couple weeks ago for a quote, and today we did prepped, and prepped, and prepped (it was quite contaminated) the car for a single step enhancement polish prior to sealing it all in with Opticoat Pro 5-year ceramic coating. Being a 11-year old car, going into it we knew that perfection was probably out of reach, and there were many existing flaws that would’ve been larger eye sores even if we got close to it. So the goal today was to really enhance the paint prior to protecting it, since they plan to keep the car forever. The multi-step decontamination really got the paint smooth, and the polishing really brought the color and glossiness back out, and really made the red pearls pop. The trims were faded, cracked, and dry, to the point where some may say is beyond repair. We cleaned them up with PreWOW and rehydrated them with BlackWOW Pro — let it absorb for half a day, and then slapped on a second coat to really bring back as much blackness to the trims as possible. In the end, I think that the effort showed with this one, and I hope that their mom will be ecstatic! We also coated the front windshield as a courtesy, so that their mom can drive more safely in the rain.
