2016 BMW i8 (Sophisto Grey)
2016 BMW i8 in Sophisto Grey ready to take off for the weekend! The owner purchased this CPO with ~20k miles. It’s for its share of battle scars already, but wanted to enhance the look of the car but also protect it with a good bang for the buck coating too. We ended up doing a single step polish on the gray areas and two step on the abundant black areas. This was also probably one of the harder(est) cars that we’ve worked on in terms of access. Our little 1” polisher had to work overtime to get into all of the nooks and crannies. There were areas where we couldn’t even get the machine in, so we had to bring out the good ole’ elbow grease; good thing I skipped my jiu jitsu class on Thursday. Some deeper and permanent defects remain but overall the car looks much richer.
